Merely snagging a prominent role
in a big studio feature is a shot at
immortality simply because of the
magnitude of the effort and the
size of the team of skilled and
talented professionals in an industry that has dedicated itself like no other in the world.

Simply put Hollywood has no
equal anywhere. New York is a
distant second and the film indus-
try in Europe remains far behind,
opting for art films and indepen-
dent smaller productions.

that create apparel especially de-
signed to make the celebrity look
impossibly good. In many in-
stances acting coaches on special
roles that require a special de-
meanor, actors are coached how to
walk or how to pose for the camera
in a specific scene.

The teams that are hired to make
each scene perfect and spotless
are never seen in the final product.

And so is it any wonder that fans
become enamored of the celebrities? Or that the celebrities attempt
to keep themselves marketable and
try to keep away from the ravages
of time?

Hollywood has also managed to
cut into the small indie markets by
acquiring many smaller studios.

And so is it any wonder that ce-
lebrities take great chances with
their appearances?

For some they disappear into an-
onymity, others are disfigured in
attempting to maintain their foot-
ing and viability, and for many
others they go nowhere.

While their beauty and looks are for-
ever enshrined in film, in real life they are fortunate enough they age gracefully and very slowly.
