Sunrise Avenue has seen many colors, and the industry advice for them has always been: without black clothes and makeup rock music cannot succeed.
For many music listeners Sunrise Avenue is an obscure rock and alternative rock band that formed in Finland in the late 1990's. Their catchy music style has been labeled as rock-pop and rock ballads and thus far they have released five albums and 12 singles.
Some of the band’s best known tracks are “Hollywood Hills”, “Fairytale Gone Bad”, “Forever Yours” and “Welcome to My Life”.
From the original band only one member has remained in the current lineup. Luckily for the fans, Sunrise Avenue is presently signed on with two major labels, Universal Music and EMI and has sold close to one million singles and nearly as many albums.
