Coming down several notches from the BMW Zagato Roadster, Toyota’s 2013 Lexus GS 350 offers a somewhat different level of luxury, power and prestige in the form of a four door sedan.

In North American the Lexus sedan has been an extremely popular alternative to traditional Mercedes shoppers. While Daimler responded in kind to the challenge from Japan, Lexus maintained its footing.

The new 2013 GS has a 3.5 liter V-6 engine that outputs 303 bhp at 6,200 rpm and 274 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm.

The GS 350 is available in rear wheel drive and AWD models.

The series is appointed with a Mark Levinson 12 speaker audio system, Sirius XM satellite receiver, night vision system, GPS nav console, 4-channel ABS, proximity alert and collision connect control, adaptive cruise control, adaptive suspension and front lighting, blue tooth wireless, keyless entry and push button start. The aforementioned are samples of all the features onboard. Mileage varies from 17 to 29 mpg depending on terrain.
